Trees Riverview
Trees Riverview is a non-profit grassroots organization formed in response to the devastating loss of trees where we live. Our purpose is to protect, restore, and enhance the public tree canopy in the Riverview neighbourhood of Winnipeg. We hope that our work positively contributes to the life of the greater Winnipeg urban forest.
Our small corner of the world has lost hundreds of majestic trees in recent years — elms and ash that lined our boulevards and parks, providing shade for our homes, habitat for birds and other life, and beauty to our neighbourhood.
